I am a Pet Sitters International (PSI) Accredited
Professional Pet Sitter and am Red Cross Certified
in pet first aid. I am dependable, insured and
bonded(*). You will find that I always exceed your  
expectations.

Pet Sitting is my third career. My first career
began after receiving my BS Degree in Electrical
Engineering at the University of Nebraska and
obtaining my Professional Engineering License. I was
employed by AT&T as an Engineer, Area Manager,
and Information Specialist Group Leader until I
took early retirement after 30 years service.  

After traveling and teaching computer courses for
over a year, my second career began as a charter
member of the Department of Homeland Security as
a Transportation Security Officer. I was on this
job for over four years and thoroughly enjoyed my
tour with the wonderful TSA staff and co-workers.

I had at least one dog and cat all my life and am a
true animal lover. Before becoming a pet sitter, we
were going on vacation and waited too long to hire a
pet sitter for our three dogs and three cats. We
were able to find a friend who could take care of
the cats, but the dogs needed to go to the kennel.
The kennel we used was a great facility and we
knew that our dogs would be taken care of.
However, they are creatures of habit and prefer to
stay in their familiar surroundings, especially when
their family is away. We had to scramble to get
the dogs their shots that the Kennel required.
When we returned, we almost missed getting them
out in time since the kennel closed a short time
after our plane landed.

My pet sitter told me that more and more people
were switching from kennels to pet sitters because
they realize the advantages. He said that because
of the demand, there weren't enough pet sitters to
go around.

I am a true animal lover and consequently radiate
peaceful, calm energy that animals can sense. I
really enjoy care-giving and playing with them. So,
I decided that I should resign from my government
job and start my third career as a Professional Pet
Sitter!

Pet Sitters Associates, LLC. Actually, my special
personal property endorsement provides broader
coverage than bonds. Bonds usually require that the
person be convicted of the crime before the bonding
company would make a payment. The bond further
requires that the individual make full restitution to the
bond company for the payment. Although my special
personal property endorsement costs more than
bonding, it provides broader coverage and includes
losses such as breakage, destruction, mysterious
disappearance and loss.
